We are a life-style brand that speaks to the heart and soul of all the wanderers, the travellers, the free-spirited, the big dreamers, the eternal optimists, the classics, the boho’babes, the rock & rollers, the retro-romantics —— whilst being absolutely non commercial and staying true to the wonderful female spirit that is so unique and so much more than just one thing.


It is a brand that is all about the memories that you make whilst wearing the brand ...


Every season will be partnered up with an interesting and unique travel destination where the brand will be featured alongside a blog that features the different moments and places where memories can be made in that specific travel destination.

The brand consists of three parts -


The Romantic Original:

Garments that are designed and made locally by the founder of the The Romantic Collective Donnalee Roberts that speaks to the heart and soul of the true Original Romantic.



The Romantic Traveller:

Garments that have been uniquely sourced worldwide that speaks to the heart and soul of the Romantic Traveller.


The Romantic Co’Lab:

Garments that form part of collaborations with local designers, creatives, photographers, make up artists & entrepreneurs to produce unique products that memories can be made in and with / pictures that showcase those memories - that speaks to the heart and soul of the Romantic Creative.

The Original Romantic:

As the Original Romantic is designed and manufactured locally. We use BODY MEASUREMENTS to size our items. We will always try and give a clear description of each item, but items may differ according to the pattern, material, cut, fit and style.

Please see below a standard BODY MEASUREMENTS sizing chart but please note that sizing might differ on individual items according to the fit and style.

Our Romantic Traveller items are sourced worldwide and are individually sized. These sizes differ on each and every item as the material, cut and style is unique to each individual item.
